Swimmers offers a fascinating perspective on the human form and how language is conveyed through non-verbal positions. This series, available from The Eisenhauer Gallery, focuses on children competing on a swim team, but actually reflect many of the feelings most of us felt when pressured to perform well at a young age. Paintings such as “The Competition” evoke emotion from the viewer, as they are able to connect with the main figure and remember how it feels to be on both sides of the spectrum when facing a challenge.
